Here's how it works:
First, the brass cap is placed on the valve and then the valve insert is turned out - which can thus also not be lost. The desired tire pressure is now set through a sliding valve. This can be done very precisely, as the tire pressure can be read on the pressure gauge. Then screw the valve insert back in and "ready"!
